SMABTP Group, a major mutual construction insurer, has announced that it has opened a branch in Cologne, Germany, on 1 July 2023.
The Cologne office is managed commercially and operationally by DUPI, a leading Managing General Agent. DUPI is active in four European countries and last March, SMABTP acquired a majority stake in the company. The new office in Cologne operates under the name SMABTP Germany GmbH. This new location makes it possible to offer comprehensive insurance solutions specially designed for the construction insurance market in Germany.
