A delegation of our majority shareholder SMABTP paid us a visit this week and we served them stroopwafels, appelflappen and a bit of our Dutch ‘gezelligheid’. SMABTP Chairman Jacques Chanut and Managing Director Pierre Esparbes where part of the delegation that visited our headquarters. Staff from DUPI and SMABTP discussed the economic outlook for the marine and construction insurance sector in the Netherlands and the joint development strategy.

Recently, SMABTP Group became the majority shareholder in DUPI Group B.V. with 58,56% stake, following AFM approval.
The two current directors, Stijn Bakkeren and Anton Cornel, retain their equal minority shares and their position in the company’s management.
