Since 1 June, Kaj van den Bosch has joined DUPI’s Marine team as Senior Underwriter Marine Cargo & Logistics Liability. He is part of the team led by Annemieke Boon, Lead Underwriter Marine Cargo, and will focus on the further development of DUPI’s Marine Cargo & Logistics Liability activities.

Kaj began his career at HDI, where he progressed from trainee to Underwriter Marine Hull. He then spent almost four years at SAA as a Marine Co-insurance Underwriter, followed by nearly five years at Meijers as an Account Specialist Transport & Logistics. There, he further developed his expertise, particularly in the field of Logistics Liability.

On Thursday 28 May, DUPI welcomed relations and colleagues for the very first edition of the DUPI PingPong Open.

A packed sixth floor, 64 participants, dozens of matches and supporters lining the tables. What was intended as a friendly afternoon of table tennis quickly turned into a tournament in which nobody gave anything away.

After an impressive tournament, Gijs Aarts (Howden) ultimately came out on top. In a thrilling final, he defeated Thijs Bakkeren (DUPI) to become the first-ever winner of the DUPI PingPong Open. In doing so, he not only claimed the title, but also earned the honour of becoming the first name to be engraved on the tournament trophy.
