Paul de Koning joins DUPI

At DUPI, our brokers and their clients are our main priority. We feel we can further improve our service through dedicated leadership for all DUPI’s Lines of Business and have therefore decided, going forward, to split the management of the Property and Casualty department.

We are excited to announce that Paul de Koning (60) will join DUPI Underwriting Agencies as Underwriting Director Property on September 1, 2021. 

Paul has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance business. Over the last 20 years, he worked as Manager Underwriting Property for HDI. Before that, he worked in various property roles at Sampo Industrial, Delta Lloyd and RVS. 

Paul will report to Anton Cornel, Managing Director DUPI Underwriting Agencies. 

Richard Oets successfully launched DUPI Property Insurance in 2019, building a team of excellent underwriters, claims handlers and support colleagues, realizing a book of well over  EUR 15 mln of premium, laying the foundations for further profitable growth. 

As Corporate Consultant Property, Richard will support Paul in taking up this new role in the upcoming months.
