We’re proud to announce that key positions within our Marine and P&I team are now filled by experienced colleagues from within the organisation.

Jaap Gispen – Underwriting Director Marine, responsible for Marine and P&I.
With over 40 years of experience, mainly in senior roles, Jaap has a sharp eye for people and portfolios. He knows what it takes to stay relevant and human in a world full of risks.

Philip van den Nieuwenhof – Head of P&I and Charterers Liability
Philip combines claims and underwriting in his role. With a master’s in civil law and a strong background in maritime claims, he bridges risk and resolution.
Philip: “Good judgement starts with listening. To facts, to people, and to what’s not being said.”
Annemieke Boon – Lead Underwriter Marine Cargo
With deep knowledge of cargo risk and a master’s in administrative law, Annemieke combines technical expertise with a personal approach.
Annemieke: “For me, it’s all about the personal touch. That’s how we do things at DUPI and how I like to work too.”
Peter Boekhoud – Lead Underwriter Marine Hull
With a master’s in business administration, strong technical insight and commercial sensitivity, Peter understands the market like no other.

And a new addition
Since 1 June, Rik van den Bosch has joined our team. A new face at DUPI, but a familiar name in the maritime insurance world. With over 20 years’ experience and a solid network, Rik adds valuable strength and insight to the team.
Rik van den Bosch – Associate Director Marine Cargo
With broad experience in broking and risk management, and a master’s in insurance studies, Rik brings sharp analysis and hands-on solutions. He speaks both the language of the client and of the market.
