STIJN BAKKEREN, Chief Executive Officer

Stijn Bakkeren was appointed Managing Director of DUPI Group on 1 March 2020. He joined DUPI in 2016 as Chief Financial Officer and shareholder of the company.

Having worked as a director and owner/shareholder of several accounting firms and tax consultancies, Stijn brings 20 years of knowledge and experience in the field of accountancy, financial and corporate tax advisory and tax risk inventories.

Stijn holds a Master’s Degree in Fiscal Economics from Tilburg University.

ANTON CORNEL, Chief Commercial Officer

Anton Cornel is Executive Director and shareholder of DUPI Group and Managing Director of DUPI Underwriting Agencies. He joined DUPI in 2014.

From 2006 until 2014 Anton was Managing Director of Marsh Inc. and a member of the Executive Committee of Marsh in Rotterdam, where he was responsible for Account Management and Sales. Anton’s previous assignments include responsibility for the Marine Business Line in the Netherlands of Fortis Corporate Insurance (now MS Amlin), including the Raets P&I portfolio (1996-2006).

Anton holds a Master‘s Degree from Tilburg University (MA, Sociology) and the Diploma of the Chartered Insurance Institute in London (Dip CII).

MARLEEN MAC-DONALD, Chief Financial Officer

Marleen Mac-Donald joined DUPI Group in February 2020 as Director Finance and IT. She is now responsible for Finance and Operations.

Marleen brings well over 20 years of knowledge and experience in controlling, accounting, project and process management and IT.

She joined DUPI from Victor Insurance Rotterdam where she was Operations and Control Manager since 2011. From 2007-2011 she was Fiduciary Accounting Controller at Marsh in Rotterdam.

Marleen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Management Science from the Open University.
