HR Update from our Property Department

Dennis Bergwerff has been appointed Manager Property Operations for DUPI Underwriting Agencies as of 1 January 2021. Dennis will take on the daily management of the property department and the property underwriting team will report directly to him.

Following DUPI Property Insurance´s growth over the past year and Dennis’ increased responsibilities, as of 1 March 2021, a part of Dennis’ current risk consulting activities will be taken over by Kasper Kramer (31). Kasper joins us from the Rotterdam-Rijnmond Safety Department, where he was Chief Fire Guard. Having worked as a professional firefighter for over a decade, Kasper brings both theoretical knowledge on the one hand and practical experience in loss control, risk prevention and health & safety on the other hand.
Kasper will report to Dennis.

Dennis will continue to report to Ad Boekraad, Underwriting Director Property & Casualty.

As of 1 January 2021, Richard Oets returned to his previous role as Corporate Consultant to the DUPI Group management team. Over the past two years, Richard successfully launched DUPI Property Insurance, building a close team of excellent Underwriters, Claims Handlers and Support colleagues, realizing a book of EUR 10 million premium, and laying the foundations for further profitable growth.

With these changes, we can continue to facilitate the further growth of the current property portfolio and deployment of our property initiatives in the Dutch markets.

New employees DUPI Underwriting Agencies welcomed over the last months

Rubilita Hooff (46) joined DUPI Underwiting Agencies as Claims Handler on 1 January 2021.

Having worked as the owner of a Legal Assistance Office for over seven years and as Claims Handler for BG Freigh Line, Rubilita brings both theoretical knowledge of law and regulations and experience in claims handling for the international shipping industry.

Meryam Bassali (27) joined DUPI Underwriting Agencies as Administrative Support on 4 November 2020, Jantien Jonker (45) and Sofia Bouamri (26) joined us as Administrative Support on 1 December 2020.

Having worked for Allianz Direct and Nationale Nederlanden before, Meryam is an experienced member of our support team. She successfully finished her education as a legal assistant.

Jantien has extensive experience in the financial sector: she worked for ABN AMRO and Rabobank for almost two decades. Jantien successfully finished her study for working in the banking and insurance sectors.

Sofia is currently finishing her Law Degree at Hogeschool Zuyd in Limburg.
